PRIVATE TROUT WATER

WE HAVE ACCESS TO SOME PRETTY INCREDIBLE FISHERIES IN NORTHERN GEORGIA

  • SOQUE RIVER-

The Soque River in Habersham County, Georgia, is a breathtaking and unique body of water. It flows approximately 30 miles through private land before emptying into the Chattahoochee River. The mountain wilderness surrounding Glen-Ella Springs Inn in Clarkesville, Georgia, is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground

Water temperatures on the upper Soque River are ideal for supporting large numbers of trout. Land owners and local fishing businesses ensure that the river is re-stocked annually and that the fish are well fed to maintain their trophy size.

  • DUKES CREEK-

Dukes Creek is a tributary to the headwaters of the
Chattahooochee River in North Georgia. The trout in its
lower section, below of the Chattahoochee Wildlife
Management Area in the Smithgall/Woods -Dukes Creek
Conservation Area, were not stocked from a hatchery
and feed. They are wild trout that receive supplemental
feeding.
